Problem Description:
A customer in Nocatee reached out to Gdoing, reporting that their Thor refrigerator’s control panel was malfunctioning, randomly beeping, and that the ice maker had stopped working. These issues were causing frustration and disrupting the fridge’s functionality.
Solution:
Upon thorough inspection, it was determined that the wire harness in the middle door was broken, causing a short in the system. Additionally, the ice maker control board was also faulty.
Repairs Made:
- The damaged wire harness in the middle door was replaced, which resolved the electrical short causing the control panel malfunction.
- The faulty ice maker control board was also replaced, restoring the functionality of the ice maker.
- The repair was completed under the manufacturer’s warranty, ensuring no additional cost to the customer.
